What is Prefabricated

Jul 13, 2022

Prefabricated refers to the type of house that completes the production of all the components required for the steel structure house in advance in the factory, completes the installation in a short period of time after transporting to the site, and can be put into use directly.

There is no need for secondary decoration, the installation process is also very simple, no need to use any large machinery and equipment, and only 4 workers can complete the decoration of 130 square meters in one day.

What we produce at Khome are offices, residences, camps, or any temporary buildings with light steel as the main steel frame structure.

We are located in the birthplace of prefabricated buildings, surrounded by factories, and have a complete industrial chain. We can provide you with the most advanced technology, the most stable steel material, the most reliable customer service, and the most competitive price!

Now let's find out which prefab building is right for you!

K-Type Prefabricated House

A prefab building called K-Type is currently the cheapest type on the market. The cost per square meter is only about $45, and it is one of the common choices for large-scale project dormitories.

It has all the advantages of prefab construction, let me take you to know more about it:

 1- All parts are prefabricated.

The product you receive will be a group of parts that have been sorted into categories. Almost all the parts you need for subsequent construction will be packaged and sent to you together, so you don't have to worry about going to the local market to buy expensive parts.

2- Installation is simple and fast.

In fact, because the entire building will be shipped to you in disassembled parts, you may worry about complicated installation work. That's all you need to think about, all parts of this prefab building are modular, and it's as easy to install as building blocks without the need for any major mechanical equipment.

prefab house installation step

You only need to prepare a concrete foundation in advance as the support for the whole building (if you do not know the thickness of the foundation, you can describe your use environment to our professional team, and we will provide you with a reasonable suggestion)

Measure and mark your building on the foundation.

Find "Ground Beam" based on the name identification we wrote you on the surface of the part. Use the expansion screws we prepared for you to install the ground beam upside down on the concrete foundation. Then put the purlins on the ground beams, and the foundation installation is complete.

The next step is the installation of the columns. There are three types of columns: wall columns, gable columns, and corner columns. Please carefully distinguish them according to the signs. The same is used to fix each column to the ground beam with screws. Please note that the distance between each column must be 1.82m, and then the tie rods will be crossed into an "X" shape and fixed in front of the column to maintain this distance.

If your building is one floor, skip directly to the next step. If it's two floors or more, then you'll next install the flat beams between the columns on either side. The flat beam is used to support the second-floor structure, and the floor purlin is also fixed on the flat beam.

The steel frame structure of the roof consists of ring beams installed around the columns and girder beams framed between the columns. The roof purlin will be placed between the girder beams to support the roof structure.

This point, the main frame of the house is completed. Now we go back to the ground and start laying the envelope material.

In order to waterproof, we added flashing grooves at the joints of the ground beams and the wall panels. You can directly insert the wall panels between the columns, remember to cut the wall panels of the doors and windows to the appropriate size according to the design drawings we provide. To the part of the door, additional door pillars on both sides are added to make up for the impact of the long-term opening and closing of the door on the structure.

The design of the roof panel is that the joints can be tightly buckled and fixed on the roof steel frame with screws and glue.

In the end you just need to glue all the seams and exposed nails and you're done.

3-Structural safety.

The service life can reach 8-10 years, the windproof grade is 8, and it is earthquake resistant.

T-Type Prefabricated House

There is another T-Type prefab house costing about $60/m 2 that can meet your needs for a variety of layouts. It has all the advantages of a K-Type house, and has the following uniqueness:

1- Longer service life.

The service life of T-Type prefabricated houses is generally 10-15 years. The steel frame structure of the T-Type house is made of galvanized square pipes, which improves the support force and prolongs the service life.

2- Flexible layout.

Unlike the K-Type house, the size of the T-Type house is customizable. You can enrich the layout and functionality of the interior of your home by adding, removing, and changing the location of doors, windows, and partitions.

Whether it is a K-Type house or a T-Type house, it can meet a variety of application scenarios:

As offices in the fields of construction, railways, highways, water conservancy, petroleum, commerce, tourism, military, meeting rooms, dormitories, canteens, entertainment rooms, shops, and various temporary housing.
