Container House Installation Steps

1. Ground preparation

Our container houses have lower geological requirements. According to your project situation, we will give corresponding suggestions.

Here are some situations for your reference:

01 - Place directly on the concrete floor.

02 - Place directly on other stable ground such as the brick floor.

03- Use brick and cement for the bottom pillar. It only needs to make the foundation under the house frame.

04 - Add concrete pillars on the stable ground. It need to made the concrete post under the house as foundation.

No matter which foundation is chosen, We K-Home will assist and give professional advice.

2. Floor frame installation

01. Arrange the Corner Connection Part and Floor Beam on the ground foundation.

02. Use Corner Connection Part Bolts to connect the floor frame. But don’t tighten all bolts at the beginning.

03. Use tapeline to measure. Make sure the floor beam is a rectangle, and all beams are horizontal.

04. After the adjustment, make mark on the ground (as shown in the following picture). Make sure the shape will not change in the following installation process. Then tighten all corner connection part bolts. If there is gap between beam and ground, you can lay some steel plates to pad the gap (at least two pad points), to ensure the stability of the house.

3. Roof structure installation

01. Short roof purlin installation. First install the roof purlin (40*80*2960) in the middle of the frame. After adjustment, install the remaining floor purlins.

02. Long roof purlin installation. No.1&3 (marked in red on the following picture) is 40*60*5630mm roof purlin, and No.2 is 40*80*5630 roof purlin.

03. Water Channel Installation. First, put the structural adhesive on the surface of the roof beam. Then put down sink on the structural adhesive and use 25# drill tail screws to fix it. Finally, use structural adhesive to make sealing treatment.

4. Door & window installation

5. Ceiling installation

For easy installation, it needs two people fix the two ends of the ceiling at the same time, so the ceiling can be flat.

You need to install 2 pcs 30*50 square tubes on the roof purlin, so you can fix the ceiling on this square tube.

6. Roof Insulation Installation

a. Put the structural adhesive, lay the roof plate and use screws to fix it.

b. Repeat the process; install the roof plate one by one until all the roof plates are installed.

7. Floor leather installation

The container house uses the mode of "factory prefabrication + on-site installation". No construction waste will be generated during installation. After the project is demolished, no construction waste will be left behind, and the resident environment will not be damaged. As introduced above, the container house installation is very simple, if you have a need for container houses, please feel free to contact us.
