This light steel structure farm project in Ghana is mainly a chicken coop, which is set up to protect chickens (broilers and laying hens) from bad weather, and provide living space for chickens with equipment such as feeding systems, drinking water systems, and manure removal. building. The total area is about 9600 square meters, the size of each building is 100*12*6m, and there are 16 buildings in total.
Client needs
The person in charge of the chicken farm found us through Google. Before planning the layout of the chicken house, the customer provided us with enough information, including the number of chickens, what breeds there are, layout planning, internal equipment, etc. And it’s also important to take into account local weather conditions, because when chickens live in harsh environments, improper layouts can result in significantly reduced yields.
If the customer wants to build a modern farm, a complete set of poultry house equipment needs to be equipped inside, including: automatic feeding system, automatic nipple drinking system, exhaust fan, evaporative cooling pad, dung leakage floor, etc.
Solution
Combined with the above requirements, our team also provides some reasonable size suggestions to customers, for example, the height of the general poultry house is between 2.5m-3.5m (at the eaves). The width of the house depends on the arrangement of the internal equipment, but considering the ventilation, the width should not be too large. Steel structure poultry houses are usually designed with a width of 8-15m. The length cannot be greater than 120m. According to the customer's request, our team worked out a reasonable farm layout plan within three days.
