Project Overview
Because of the continuous expansion of the company's business, Shandong Animal Husbandry Company decided to build a new factory to meet the growing demand. K-home Group cooperated with Shandong Animal Husbandry Company to complete the delivery of the Steel Structure Breeding and Processing Factory. It covers an area of about 600,000 square meters and provides 5 different steel structure building function areas. The total number of beef cattle that can be raised is 100,000, and the number of cattle slaughtered annually is 200,000.

Factors such as farm development, topography, in-plant transportation, climatic conditions, and production techniques should be considered in the planning, and roads, water supply, sewage, and greening should be reasonably arranged.
1) Conducive to production
The overall layout of the farm must first meet the requirements of the production process and plan and arrange the buildings according to the sequence and continuity in the production process, so as to be conducive to production, facilitate scientific management, and improve labor productivity.
(2) Conducive to epidemic prevention
Large-scale farms have large scale and high stocking density. To ensure normal production, health and epidemic prevention must be given top priority. On the one hand, the overall location should focus on the nature of the farm, the resistance of livestock and poultry, the terrain conditions, the dominant wind direction, etc.; on the other hand, some effective epidemic prevention measures should be taken.

The daily transportation of feed, livestock, and poultry, and production and daily necessities on the farm are very busy. In the layout of buildings and roads, the internal connection of the production process and the continuity of the connection with the outside world should be considered, and the transportation route should be made as convenient, simple, and convenient as possible. The production area is the core part of the farm, mainly including livestock and poultry houses and production facilities; the living area mainly includes dormitories, canteens, and auxiliary facilities; the office area mainly includes administrative offices, sales, and production-related auxiliary facilities; the isolation area mainly includes veterinarians Room, isolation house, harmless treatment facilities for sick and dead livestock and poultry, etc. In the wind direction, the office area, isolation area, etc. should be in the crosswind direction with the production area, so as to prevent the pathogens in the office area and the isolation area from spreading to the livestock and poultry houses with the wind direction. In terms of terrain, the office area and living area should be located in the high terrain part of the production area, and the isolation area should be located in the low terrain part. In terms of logistics, items from downwind and low terrain cannot flow to high terrain and upwind.
On-site roads require effective separation of clean roads and dirt roads, and must not cross each other, so as to reduce the chance of mutual contamination in the flow of feed, livestock and manure transportation personnel, and are conducive to epidemic prevention. Drainage should be smooth, and sewage and rainwater should be separated as far as possible to set up drainage ditches to reduce the pressure of sewage treatment. The greening of the site can create a good microclimate environment, which is conducive to production and life. But be careful not to increase pollen, catkins, etc. due to greening, to prevent the spread of pathogenic microorganisms.
